April Bojorquez

Class of 2011

April Bojorquez is currently a Ph.D. student of Social Cultural Anthropology  at the School of Human Evolution and Social Change at Arizona State University.She is a third generation Arizonan and feels very much at home in the Sonoran desert. Professionally, April's experiences include participation in the Smithsonian's Latino Museum Studies Program and the U.S. Embassy's Cultural Affairs Museum Internship Program in Lima, Peru. She currently serves on the Board of Arizona Latino Arts & Cultural Center and has volunteered for organization such as Mi Familia Vota. April is committed to creating a better Arizona for future generations culturally, socially, and economically.
